Carving soul

The Malakai is a laid back cruiser with the soul of a carver. Advanced riders will enjoy sick carving performance on the hills (look to the wider S8 or S10 Original longboard trucks) and novice / intermediate riders will instantly feel at home and in total control of their longboard on the flats as they work their way up to the big stuff. The Malakai is one of our best all around longboards and can be outfitted to suit your riding style and your favorite longboarding terrain.

Malakai 40 Design

The Malakai rocks one of our all time favorite graphics layed overtop of a jetblack finish. But none of that glitter covers up the performance of this longboard, the Malakai is a true caving performer on the hills or a fantastic cruiser on the flats. Flex or famine

The Malakai takes advantage of good-old-fashioned Canadian maple to give you a flexible firm finish to your carves. Take it to the hills for added control or onto the flats for pump carving. It takes a hearty combination of truck technology and flex to give a board this long so much life. Carve hard and get your fill on the Malakai.

Base Pumper

The difference between carving to control your speed and pumping to gain it may surprise you. The Malakai allows you to carve off excess speed to tackle your biggest hills, but also flexes to help you pump up, or maintain, your speed on the not so steep stuff. Pumping a longboard with a wide wheelbase is an experience not to be missed.

Thread the needle

Pintail longboards have always been a staple of the cruising skateboard community, the Malakai was designed to step into that stereo type and then break back out. With the crisp control of the Malakai, slow lazy turns are and option, not a requirement. Upgrade to pinpoint control, sharp as a needle.

How it Rides

The Malakai is an all around longboard cruiser but with the right set of wider trucks/wheels it will carve the hills with the best of the best. With plenty of room to change up your stance (forward for stability, back for more power) the Malakai is a versitile longboard with a sky high perforamce ceiling. Neighborhood watch this

Show your neighbors how a real longboard carver rolls. The Malakai was designed to excel on the gradual slopes, sidewalks and driveways of your hometown. Neighborhood watching or not, your local longboard populace is on notice.

City cruising

The Malakai will make short work of your 30, 40 or 50 block commute home. Perfect for longer distances, the wide wheelbase creates a stable platform while your choice of Original longboard trucks keeps the Malakai quick enough to dodge even the most out of control Times Square cabbie.

Park riding

If in-park longboarding is your game, the Malakai will show up ready to play. The Malakai is at home on the longer lines and flowing sections of your park or bowl but will be hard pressed on the steeper stuff. If getting radically vertical is your only concept of fun in the park, look elsewhere, but for good hearted park flow and cruising look no further.

Big mountain

Load up some big trucks, big wheels, and find yourself a big mountain. In the hands of an experienced longboard carver, the flex, wheelbase and construction of the Malakai will topple the toughest mountian/hill riding you can find. This longboard is a true carver, but remember, bombing takes skill, never get in over your head and be sure to work your way up your hills.
